| Traceway |
|
|
|
| The
Traceway comprises one or two weigh platforms, a computer, a colour
touchscreen and a label printer combined into one unit. A barcode
scanner may also be incorporated.For
food industry applications, the unit is normally in stainless steel.
The weights are displayed on the screen and the operator can choose
further descriptive details from drop-down lists or by scanning
a bar-coded label on the pack. A more detailed label may then be
printed and full details are logged on the computer into a SQL Server
database for traceability and management purposes. Many Traceways
may be networked together and linked to a single server. Read

| Gradeway |
|
|
|
|
|
 |
|
The
Gradeway is a weight grading machine for sorting fish or other items
into bins. Each bin contains items that fall into a specified range
of weight. The goods are weighed in motion at high speed and are
automatically deflected from a moving belt into the correct bin
by flipper arms actuated at the required time. Most settings are
made via a colour touchscreen. Every individual graded item is logged
into a database on the integral computer or over a network.

| Wavecheetah |
|
|
|
The
Wavecheetah is a special form of platform weigher for use on board
ship - it does not have to be level or static to produce accurate
weighings.
The platform and indicator are mounted in a frame that also incorporates
a label printer. Read

Port Landing Systems |
|
|
|
 |
|
The
larger Port Landing Systems comprise a number of Traceways of different
capacities and sometimes Gradeways, linked on a network to a remote
Server and Workstation. Handheld wireless PDAs may also be used
for quality assessment or other data input, the information being
sent to a wireless base station and from there to the Server for
data logging and traceability purposes. Smaller systems may consist
of just one stand-alone Traceway without Server or PDAs. In each
case full details of fishing vessels, fishing areas and species
are held on the system and are selected from sorted lists using
the touchscreens. Read

Fish Wholesaler Systems |
|
|
|
|
These are
designed for individual applications and take various forms. In
general a single Traceway unit is used, weights and full wholesaler
details of the fishboxes are logged at each step. These may include
source of the fish with full landing details, weights before and
after heading, gutting and trimming and information on newly made-up
fishboxes. All data is logged into a SQL Server database for management
information and traceability.

Fish Processors Systems |
|
|
|
|
These are
designed for individual applications and take various forms. In
general a Traceway unit is located at each point in the process
and weights and full processing details of the products are logged
at each step. These may include source of the fish with full landing
details, weights before and after heading, gutting and trimming
and information about added ingredients
to the packs, such as sauces, etc. The Traceways are again linked
by network to a Server and Workstation. As with the landing systems,
Gradeways may be incorporated and also, in this case, OCM equipment
as well. All data is logged into a SQL Server database for management
information and traceability.
