Traceway

The Traceway is a version of our Data Terminal, produced in collaboration with our Joint Venture partner Nesco Weighing.
Software has been developed to run on it that writes data to the TraceFish SQL database using the TraceFish EAN Identification XML schema. This allows us to offer full TraceFish implementation.
The Traceway is an integrated Traceability System. It features:

15" touchscreen and label printer.
• User-friendly software, compliant with European CEN TraceFish standard
It guides the operator efficiently through every stage of the process
• Software versions, both standard and bespoke, for:
Landing
Auction
Processors
Traders and wholesalers
• Easy data integration with your existing system. Traceway uses an SQL database and implements fully the CEN TraceFish XML schema.
Datalogging:

For small systems and standalone Traceway units we use the Microsoft SQL desktop engine to create the TraceFish database. For larger systems and linking multiple Traceway units we use the more powerful and flexible Microsoft SQL server to create the TraceFish database.
The TraceFish database can also hold additional bespoke client information if required.
Network: Traceway can easily network with other Traceway units and computer workstations or servers in your own computer network. Traceway has a built-in RJ45 100Mbs network connection.
Weighing:

May be linked to approved DWI mounted in same enclosure as the terminal units, or separately.
For non-approved weighing systems, an internal A-D unit may be used, with the digital weight display
transferred to the touchscreen.
HMI:

The touchscreen is used for all operator input, without the need for a keyboard or mouse.
This is achieved by bringing a virtual QWERTY keyboard or numeric keypad to the touchscreen.
If preferred, a standard keyboard and mouse may be plugged into the system.
Scanner:

Rugged industrial bar code scanner. Bar code symbologies: EAN, Code 11, 39, 128, UCC/EAN 128
Optional: wireless scanning (2.4Ghz)
